Validate
your skills with MCAP (Microsoft
Certified Architect Professional)
The
Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA) Program identifies top
industry experts in IT Architecture who use multiple
technologies to solve business problems and provide business
metrics and measurements. The metrics and measurements describe
the success or failure of the projects that the architects
drive.
Candidates
for the Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA) program are required
to present to the Review Board and then to gain approval from
previously certified architects who oversee them as they move
through the rigorous Review Board process.
Unlike other
industry certifications, these certifications are vendor-neutral
and are designed, built, and granted by industry peers. There
are currently two certifications that validate broad
architecture skills. These certifications are Microsoft
Certified Architect: Infrastructure and Microsoft Certified
Architect: Solutions.
In addition
to extensive industry experience, the following certification
requires participation in an in-depth training program before
candidates pass a lab-based exam and a rigorous Review Board
process. Microsoft Certified Architect: Messaging and Microsoft
Certified Architect: Database.
